A Special 15th Year Tribute and Thank You: The 272 Participants in the 2016 Giving In Numbers Survey

By Jinny Jeong Senior Associate, Evaluation and Data Insights

May 2, 2016–This year, CECP celebrates the completion of the 15th year of this annual data collection process. CECP pioneered in 2001 a survey to track corporate societal engagement with a small group of committed and leading multi-national companies.

This annual collection, known as the Giving in Numbers Survey, has grown to capture a wide range of corporate societal engagement activities—data on employee engagement programs such as volunteering, matching gifts program participation, global footprint in terms of both employees and charitable giving, structures of corporate foundations, and more.

Now also celebrating the fifth year in which CECP has conducted the survey in association with The Conference Board, the 2016 Giving in Numbers Survey had a record 272 participating companies.

What makes this 15th annual Giving in Numbers Survey special?

  • Record number of 272 of the world’s largest global companies represented
  • 81 companies participated 10 or more years
  • 62 of the Fortune 100 companies represented
  • Supports CECP’s 10+ year history of reporting and benchmarking on the topics of:

Thanks to your work, a record number of participants gives CECP-affiliated companies access throughout the year to the strongest dataset yet.
