CECP Internship Opportunities
CECP internships provide unparalleled opportunities for professional growth and development, and the chance to learn about corporate societal engagement from a unique vantage point. We celebrate our talented interns and the work they have pursued in the sector following their CECP internship, including current roles at Citi Foundation, Citi Community Development, and IBM.
CECP's internship program includes a Research and Analytics Intern Program, an academic-year Communications and Marketing Fellowship, and the John C. Whitehead Summer Intern Program. Applications for current CECP internship programs and biographies of past CECP interns can be found below.
Research and Analytics Intern Program
Research and Analytics interns support CECP's research and measurement team in managing a variety of projects related to the organization's research process and benchmarking initiative.

Communications and Marketing Fellowship Program
CECP offers a part-time academic-year internship opportunity to undergraduate or graduate students interested in assisting with CECP's marketing campaigns, social media activities, public relations outreach, and member communications. The Communications and Marketing Fellow also supports the planning for CECP's annual flagship events, including the Board of Boards CEO Conference and the CECP Summit.

2012-2013 Communications and Marketing Fellow
As CECP’s Communications and Marketing Fellow, Elizabeth managed content for the monthly newsletter and press releases about CECP’s flagship events. She also coordinated social media outreach and provided support for the Board of Boards CEO Conference, International Corporate Philanthropy Day, and the CECP Summit. At the Summit, she organized and executed interviews with leading corporate giving officers. Elizabeth graduated with honors from New York University in May 2013. She hopes to pursue a career in corporate societal engagement.
2011-2012 Communications and Events Intern
As CECP's Communications and Events Intern, Sewon assisted with media outreach, marketing campaigns, member communications and CECP's flagship events. She also led a project to transition the CECP Resource Guide to an online tool, including soliciting updates and revising the existing guide's contents. Sewon received a Masters in Strategic Communications from Seton Hall University.
John C. Whitehead Summer Intern Program
The Board of Directors of CECP created the John C. Whitehead Summer Intern Program to honor and celebrate Committee Founding Director and Honorary Chairman John C. Whitehead for his outstanding leadership in corporate philanthropy.
Whitehead interns support CECP's programs and contribute to developing strategies and direction for the organization. Students work with private, public, and independent partners to elevate the level and quality of corporate giving.

2013 John C. Whitehead Intern
As CECP's 2013 John C. Whitehead Intern, Linley conducted a strategic review of competitive analysis and organizational positioning. She identified and developed opportunities for CECP to further engage its member companies through webinars and case studies. Linley is a candidate for Masters in Business Administration and Public Administration at Cornell University, with concentrations in sustainability, managerial finance, and public and nonprofit management.
2012 John C. Whitehead Intern
As CECP's 2012 John C. Whitehead Intern, Rob explored roles that CECP might play in encouraging greater adoption of Integrated Reporting practices among CECP’s CEO members. Integrated Reporting brings together material information about an organization’s strategy, governance,performance and prospects in a way that reflects the commercial, social and environmental context within which it operates. Rob is a candidate for a Masters in Public Administration at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
2011 John C. Whitehead Intern
As CECP’s 2011 John C. Whitehead Intern, Priya worked in partnership with corporate giving officers and industry thought leaders to identify the research topic that will guide CECP's 2012 calendar of programs. Priya received a Master in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School, where she was actively involved in Social Enterprise business leadership.
2010 John C. Whitehead Intern
As CECP’s 2010 John C. Whitehead Intern, Andel focused on advancing the groundwork for a global corporate giving measurement standard. Andel received a Masters in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, with a concentration in Business and Government Policy.
