As Chief Executive for Corporate Purpose’s (CECP) Associate Manager, Storytelling and Content, Karen oversees the strategy and development for amplification of CECP’s brand through various mediums, including social content, public relations, and as a communications liaison for CECP’s Investor Forum and Global Exchange teams.
Prior to joining CECP, Karen consulted as a Marketing and Communications Manager for the Public Rights Project, focusing on echoing the organization’s initiatives around social and racial justice, as well as equitable enforcement. For the last six years, she has dedicated seasonal work contributions to FeedingNYC, overseeing their community engagement, public relations, and fundraising initiatives. Karen brings an extensive background in executive strategy, operations management, corporate social responsibility, and social justice. Her work reflects an emphasis on project management, digital communications, community engagement, and planting seeds for long-term sustainable social impact.
The Los Angeles native is a culinary, motion picture, law, Bitcoin, and politics afficionado. She holds a Master of Arts Degree from the George Washington University in Strategic Public Relations with an Emphasis in Political Management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Public Service, and Policy from Arizona State University.
