More Information on Accelerate Communities
CECP Accelerate Communities provide the opportunity for corporate responsibility leaders from CECP companies to take a deeper dive into priority topic areas with their peers to advance their strategies and the field. These year-long communities, which launch in fall 2021 and conclude in summer 2022, draw upon curated CECP and partner expertise, virtual peer meetings, best-practice sharing, and framework creation. Accelerate Communities started in 2017 because companies asked CECP to offer more robust insights to advance their specific companies’ priorities beyond Essential Services and in turn, to advance the field. CECP offers a series of Opt-In Opportunities where companies pay an additional participation fee; Accelerate Communities are one of those offered.
Launching September 2021
We invite CECP-affiliated companies to join one or more of the following Accelerate Communities (additional fees apply):
Corporate Equity: DEI and CSR Integration
This Accelerate Community will explore the changing and more deeply aligned organizational structure of DEI and CSR efforts within companies and equip senior leaders with the tools and insights they need to move this integration forward at their companies. Sessions will focus on the current state of the industry in terms of organizational structure; how CSR and DEI can lever each other internally for greater impact on culture, giving, and volunteerism; the renewed role of CSR within hiring efforts and alignment with business workforce strategies; and an integrated approach to internal metrics.
Equity & Systems Change: a Focus on Large Scale Impact
This Accelerate Community will explore how and what CSR actions are most effective in driving systems-wide change on large-scale issues through an equity lens. Sessions will focus on how to effectively utilize a variety of partnerships –corporate collaborations, government, academia, cross-sector, and more–to move your social strategies to the next level; how to galvanize resources around proven interventions; approaches to unlock new funding; and external metrics.
“E” in ESG for Social Strategy Professionals
This Accelerate Community will explore the intersection of “E and “S” efforts in companies’ ESG strategies. Sessions will focus on opportunities for addressing societal issues through environmental programs, deeper alignment and partnership between traditionally S and E functions, and an integrated approach to metrics.
Space is limited. For more information on these Accelerate Communities, please contact Alison Vultaggio.
